Aaron Lygris & Pandy Abraham
Meet the hardworking pair that put their creativity and skills into hand-crafting these beautiful furniture pieces.
WHO ARE WE?
As partners, we have developed and launched a new take on traditional furniture & decor items. With our passion for woodworking and our interest in marketing, we've decided to hand-craft unique & bespoke pieces.
I, Pandy Abraham, have completed a Bachelor of Business majoring in Management & Marketing. I was raised on a farm and have adopted a love for nature and the outdoors. I love being creative and have a natural eye for detail and colours.
My partner Aaron Lygris is a carpenter who has inherited his grandfather's passion for woodworking and has been on the tools since day one. Ever since he was a little kid, he was always tinkering with tools in the garage. Together we are proud to showcase our modern spin on traditional timber products.
ABOUT OUR BUSINESS
We’re an energetic couple that have a passion for recycling fallen trees by providing them with a second chance at life and surviving yet another greater purpose in our homes.
We source locally fallen trees in Melbourne that are roughly sawn timber slabs, in their naturalist and rawest forms.
We specialise in turning these slabs into 100% handmade Australian furniture by only using Australian native hardwoods, such as Yellow Box, Regum, Blackwood and many more.
Our aim is to utilise the natural characteristics of each timber slab with all of its natural imperfections; every quirk, every split, every crack, every lump and bump is utilised in our designs! This is why no piece of furniture is ever duplicated. The natural timber characteristics within each of our pieces make them unique. Our aim is to keep our pieces as natural and as earthy as possible. This is achieved by merging the raw timber with coloured epoxy resin to give each of our pieces that edgy & modern style that is trending in today's world. We pride ourselves in creating pieces that are truly one of a kind.
We never completely replicate the same piece twice as each tree has its own personality & story to share; varying in size, height, width and timber species.
